Landlord does not want to end contract?

Technically you signed a lease and unless she wants to be nice, she doesn't have to terminate the lease early. But sounds like she is going to be a pain about all this. You are stuck until the lease runs out and then I suggest doing a walk through with her, otherwise you can say goodbye to your security deposit. If you tell her to keep the deposit for last months rent, something tells me she will be finding damage and come after you for more money for damages...../
