Cameras- can anyone suggest a good substitute for the Fuji Film Fine Pix F31 FD?

I had mine stolen earlier this week. I loved it. I'm particularly keen on close up photography and photos taken in low level lighting. The F31 FD was brilliant for both of these and had a big screen. It is no longer in production and they go for silly money on Ebay. Is there a good substitute for less money, possibly a camera that's currently in production, or should I get another from Ebay? Thank you
