Which is okay from Harlem, Wash Heights, Inwood?
Inwood is the northern tip of Manhattan, and has a range of quality, although it is safe just about anywhere. Lots of parks, and apartment buildings dating to before World War 2. Washington Heights nowadays is largely Dominican and other Caribbean Hispanics. West of Broadway is the best area. Harlem, well, if you move to Harlem they'll call you whitey if they like you. Harlem is 125 to 158 St, Washington Heights from there to Dyckman St (=200), and above is Inwood. 96 to 125 St is Morningside Heights, a mostly university oriented community.
