Double vision in left eye?

For some time now, I have been experiencing intermittent double vision in my left eye. While it may be important to point out that I do have high blood pressure, I am not sure how related this is, simply because it doesn't seem to coincide with any elevated BP readings. If I have an elevated reading, my vision is often fine. And when my vision is doubled, it doesn't mean I am showing high on my BP readings. It varies from day to day, but whatever vision I wake up to in the morning, is how it is throughout the entirety of the day, and I always know that I will not notice a change (if any) until I wake up the following morning.. The easiest way to describe it is that I can go 3 to 4 days with perfectly fine vision and then 1 to 2 days with blurred/doubled vision. Does anyone else experience this?
