How do I get cheap (authenticity and value) appraisals for antique asian jade and ivory carvings?

I have inherited a number of Asian jade, ivory and wood statues that were acquired by my diplomat parents more than 50 years ago while on mission (and were supposedly already antiques back then), but, i have no provenance for any of the items. How can i get their history and value appraised and certified (cheaply) in order for me to put them on the market? Any guidance would be really appreciated.
