What kind of laptop should i get?

You won't need that, of course those programs use a lot of memory, but that's used for gamers. I think 4GB is enough, photoshop/aftereffects takes up about 1GB or more so you'll be fine. I suggest maybe an HP one? I have no idea about laptops, first go to the website of the store you'll be buying from, then go to laptops, there should options on the left so you can narrow down your search, like you can select how much RAM you want, how big the laptop is, etc. Good luck.
