Unknown Windows Media Player track will not delete.?

I use itunes to catalog and play my music. But still use WMP 12 to rip and burn CD's. I like to keep my WMP Library empty. Come to find every once in awhile music finds its way into it. It takes me like 4 trys to delete it but it eventually disappears. Now the update thing kinda makes sense because from what I understand WMP uses the duration to find info. So I have a couple ideas. Try a restart first. See if you can delete the file after the restart. Try a couple times because of what I wrote above. If it starts trying to update again click Tools in the upper left. It the Menu Bar does not show right click at the top and check Show Menu Bar. So click Tools, then Options. Click the Library Tab. Uncheck the box that says Retrieve Additional Info From The Internet. Hopefully that will stop the updating and let you delete it. Just a couple ideas but not much faith in them. Hope this helps.
